Learning is a social activity. Both children and adults learn best when we do it with other people in an enjoyable setting.
Therefore, all these activities are fun to do. The more children are engaged in and enjoying the activity, the more they'll learn. And you should be having fun, too.
Select activities by language strand (e.g., speaking, listening), theme (e.g., nature, puppets), type (e.g., finger game, book making), or literacy skill (e.g., rhyming, phonemic awareness). All the activities are suitable for typically developing children 3-6 years old.
Please choose activities that you think you will enjoy. Both you and they will have more fun - and they'll learn more.
