Point in the Dark

Purpose:  This activity is extremely flexible.  Use it with 5-6-year-olds as an engaging way to review concepts that you' have already taught.

Materials/Advance Preparation:

Directions:

    1. All over the sheet of paper randomly draw some of the concepts that you have been working on.  They could be letters, words, numbers, colors, shapes, etc.

    2. Ask a child to put out a pointer finger and close his or her eyes.

    3. Guide the child towards the paper and let them touch wherever they want.

    4. When they open their eyes they get to explain what they touched (or the closest one).
