Purpose:
This activity is
extremely flexible. Use it with 5-6-year-olds as an engaging way to review
concepts that you' have already taught.
Materials/Advance Preparation:
- large sheet of paper
- colored markers
Directions:
- All
over the sheet of paper randomly draw some of the concepts that you have been
working on. They could be letters, words, numbers, colors, shapes, etc.
- Ask
a child to put out a pointer finger and close his or her eyes.
- Guide
the child towards the paper and let them touch wherever they want.
- When
they open their eyes they get to explain what they touched (or the closest
one).
