Why it is important to communicate with parents:
 

• They will understand what you are doing to help prepare their children for school.
• They will learn how their children are doing.
• They will learn what they can do at home to help.
• You will learn more about the children?s background and experiences.
• The children will see that the adults in their lives care about them.
