Some are recommending a four-year degree for early childhood teachers?
With so much emphasis now on the importance of early childhood education, some experts are advocating that those who work with young children have four-year college degrees. For example, the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education have issued a report, "The Early Childhood Challenge: Preparing High-Quality Teachers for a Changing Society," which makes that recommendation.
