Preschool children are not getting enough exercise?

Researchers in So. Carolina found that preschoolers there were engaged in moderate to vigorous activity for less than one hour per day during their preschool sessions.  Children in both public and private programs wore accelerometers to measure movement.

The study, "Physical Activity among Children Attending Preschools,"  appeared in Pediatrics,  and the abstract is available online.
