Pre-Kindergarten is the fastest growing area of education?
As many children today are enrolled in pre-kindergarten as were enrolled in kindergarten in 1970.
This fact came from the Hechinger News (winter/spring 2004), a newsletter from the Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media at Columbia University. The institute has begun an effort to support journalists who cover early childhood education.
