The need for quality childcare and early education is not being met?
The Institute for Women's Policy Research has issued a report saying that there is less quality childcare available for working-class families in 2004 than there was in 2001. The worsening of the problem is caused, in part, by the reduction in funding in 23 states. The report also offers recommendations for addressing the problem.
