Knowledge Base Underlying the Partnership for Literacy
In developing activities for
the Partnership for Literacy, CELA is guided by an overall sociocognitive perspective on
the nature of teaching and learning, as well as by more specific bodies of research and
theory that provide the knowledge base for instructional development and for teacher
learning.
